Helping local people get on their feet. We want to help people in our community to learn new things and gain new skills. This will help them figure out what they need and how to get it, so they can feel more confident and take a bigger part in community life.

Bringing everyone together. We’ll run activities to help people from all different backgrounds in the Girlington, Heaton, and Manningham areas get to know and understand each other better.

Making sure no one is left out. We want to help people who are isolated or struggling because of poverty. We will work to prevent people from becoming excluded and help those who are already on the outside get back into society.

Giving young kids a great start. We will help parents of young children (below school age) understand how to best support their kids’ growth. We’ll do this through fun community groups, play and learning activities, and a community library.
